Environmental responsibility
We use wind power and renewable district heating in our premises. This means that storage in our facilities is very low-emission for our customers thanks to our energy choices.
In logistics production, we have focused on promoting the circular economy in our choice of materials and use of materials. All packaging material is reused whenever possible. We perforate and soften cardboard waste to use it as filling material. We have consciously increased the proportion of recycled fiber in our cardboard packaging material, which now exceeds 50%.
For library book covers, we mainly use bio-based plastic made from sugar cane. Bio-based plastic accounts for over 80% of the books we cover each year.
Continuous improvement and dialogue with our partners are an important part of our environmental work. We calculate our emissions annually and actively seek measures to reduce them. Currently, over 98% of our emissions are generated within scope 3, i.e. in our partners' operations. Influencing these emissions requires active dialogue and an innovative approach to developing our business from an environmental perspective.
Social responsibility – personnel and value chain
Well-being and professional staff are our most important assets. We treat everyone equally, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, origin, religion, or other personal characteristics. We value diversity and support our employees in different life situations.

Responsible operations throughout the value chain are important to us. We also require ethical practices from our partners and may terminate cooperation with any operators who act in violation of our ethical principles.
